| The 6th Annual Ionia Idol Competition returns in 2010 with 3 nights of Semi-Finals on our Free E!Park Stage and the Finals held on Saturday, July 31st. 1st Place $1,500 ~ 2nd Place $750 ~ 3rd Place $250 That's a GRAND TOTAL OF $2,500 in CASH! Your application must be accompanied by a video of your act, which will become the property of the Ionia Free Fair. You must prepare 2 songs, which you will video-tape or dvd in the following order. The 1st song on the video-tape/dvd will be the one you will be required to sing at the semi-finals, and if you make it on to the finals you will be required to sing your second video-taped/dvd song. You must sing with CD accompaniment only, no acappella singing. No cassettes or instruments, please. Each song MUST NOT exceed 5 minutes, or your act will be eliminated. When choosing music, please remember this is a PG Audience! The Ionia Idol Talent Search Committee will view each act and select the top 45. 15 acts will perform on each of the 3 nights of Semi- Finals, and the judges will choose 5 acts each night to move on to the finals. You will be notified by letter if you make the first cut. This letter will also include the night you will be performing during the Semi-Finals and a parking pass.
